"We are proud and grateful for the support from Practical Machinist. This is a great opportunity to raise awareness about our program that trains veterans for advanced manufacturing careers and addresses the demand for skilled labor in the industry."
–John Jones, retired Marine Staff Sergeant and Executive Director of Development for Workshops for Warriors

Workshops for Warriors (WFW) is a state-licensed, board governed, fully audited 501(c)(3) nonprofit school. Since 2008, they have trained and certified 496 veterans, wounded warriors and transitioning service members, awarding more than 3,000 nationally recognized third-party credentials. In 2017, 94 percent of the school’s graduates obtained jobs in advanced manufacturing after completing the program.
“We are thrilled about this new partnership and delighted to support WFW. Helping veterans find ways to join the workforce after they have served is inspiring and we want to help WFW continue growing and bring awareness to the cause.”
